Analyzing the NDA paper , Kunal Singh , Defence career Analyst  said that – “  One shift in NDA General studies paper we observed is that Questions from History & Geography were having a tincture of Civil services which gave tough time for Aspirants  with multiple fundamentals asked in single question .

“While Paper- I mathematics can be termed as Comparatively   Scoring where majority of the questions were from class 11th syllabus which means Repeaters and those who had prepared sincerely will have an edge over Class 12th students .  58 out of 120 can be termed as an ideal attempt in mathematics.  General Ability paper consisted of typical application as well as analytical questions in Geography, Physics and chemistry. While  14 History Questions gave students a tough time , 5 polity questions were reasonably efficient followed by challenging and typical UPSC standard current Affairs which needs smart work. Many students fallen in prey to answering the questions which looked simple but were tricky in terms of options.

“ Many questions in physics ,chemistry as well as English  were  fundamental , repeated and highly scoring ones along   with  14  Repeated  questions out of 53   in science section ,12 straight forward questions in  Geography. Of course , candidates with Science background will  have an edge over Non- science background Aspirants. “- added Kunal
